With an emphasis on creating a work environment that attracts and retains dedicated team members, Pueblo of Sandia aims to contribute positively to the continued success and well-being of its community today and in the future. This organization is known for its dedication to excellence in service and support within its operations, which includes various hospitality and food service roles.

We are currently seeking a Food Service Attendant to join our team. Additionally, you will supply service bars with food and serve water, butter, and coffee to patrons to ensure a welcoming and efficient dining experience.

This position requires a strong dedication to maintaining high standards of hygiene and customer service. As a Food Service Attendant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the overall dining experience by ensuring that all supplies are adequately stocked and clean, food spills are promptly managed, and guests receive attentive service. The role demands the ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment, often requiring physical stamina to lift up to 30 pounds and the agility to move efficiently throughout the dining and kitchen areas.

The Food Service Attendant will be part of a team that values teamwork and communication, contributing actively to the team’s success by performing duties such as running food to tables, assisting with room service orders when needed, and supporting bartenders and other staff as required. This role offers an opportunity for growth, with a clear progression path from Barback to Bartender, Supervisor, and Manager roles. Individuals interested in pursuing a long-term career in hospitality will find this position an excellent starting point.

Applicants must be ready to meet physical demands such as balancing, climbing, crawling, crouching, and lifting while maintaining safety and productivity standards. The job demands flexibility to work weekends and holidays and the ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism. Candidates will need to undergo background checks, drug screenings, and obtain a Food Handlers certification upon hire.

By joining Pueblo of Sandia, you will become part of a community-focused team that is committed to excellence and continuous improvement. This role offers meaningful work with the stability of an established organization, along with pathways for advancement and recognition based on performance.
