We are currently seeking a skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team. This position is hourly, with a competitive pay rate of $17.75 per hour, and includes benefits such as vacation and sick time available after 90 days of employment. Beyond drink preparation, the role encompasses managing bar operations such as setting up and breaking down the bar area, restocking supplies, maintaining cleanliness, and managing POS transactions accurately. The bartender will also play a key role in inventory control and cost management, utilizing portion control measures to minimize waste.

Job Duties

  • Provide exceptional, friendly, and timely service to all guests
  • Greet guests warmly and take drink and food orders efficiently
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge to recommend cocktails, spirits, wine, and food pairings
  • Ensure guest satisfaction by anticipating needs and resolving issues promptly
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and guest preferences
  • Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails using proper techniques, measurements, and garnishes
  • Operate bar equipment such as shakers, mixers, and blenders with precision
  • Follow all responsible alcohol service policies and check identification as required
  • Set up and break down the bar before and after service, ensuring cleanliness and organization
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work area, including bar top, tools, glassware, and storage areas
  • Restock beer, wine, spirits, garnishes, and supplies as needed throughout the shift
  • Manage cash and credit card transactions accurately using the POS system
  • Monitor and control inventory levels to minimize waste and ensure availability
  • Assist with weekly or monthly bar inventory and reporting
  • Follow portion control guidelines and avoid over-pouring
  • Work closely with servers, food runners, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
  • Communicate effectively with the team regarding any guest allergies, special requests, or issues
  • Any other tasks assigned by management
  • Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards according to local laws and company policies
  • Comply with state and local alcohol laws and internal responsible beverage service standards
  • Report any unsafe conditions, equipment issues, or incidents to management immediately
