The available role is for Bartenders at TRUSS Restaurant & Bar and the Michelin-starred Auro Restaurant. This position demands individuals who are knowledgeable about an extensive selection of wines, spirits, and mixed drinks and capable of sharing their expertise with guests. Bartenders at Four Seasons are expected to provide exceptional service by responding efficiently, courteously, and professionally to all guest interactions. They play a crucial part in the resort's Food & Beverage operations by attending to guest requests promptly and with a genuine desire to exceed expectations.

Bartenders will prepare and serve drinks while adhering to established recipes and Four Seasons' high standards for quality and presentation. They must maintain a thorough understanding of all alcoholic and non-alcoholic ingredients to accommodate special requests and answer guest inquiries with confidence. Interactions with guests include confirming orders via the hotel's point-of-sales system, describing menu items vividly and interestingly, and anticipating guest needs to ensure satisfaction.

Beyond drink preparation, bartenders are responsible for setting up and breaking down bar stations, maintaining cleanliness and organization, and accurately processing guest payments, including cash, credit card transactions, and managing voided or complimentary checks according to Four Seasons’ procedures. The position is designed to support a smooth and efficient bar operation within a luxury resort environment that values professionalism, hospitality, and guest satisfaction.

This part-time or on-call role offers flexible hours, including early morning, mid-day, and evening shifts to meet the demands of a 24/7 operational business. The compensation is competitive with an hourly rate of $19.63 and is complemented by employee benefits such as complimentary meals and 401k retirement plans. Candidates must have a minimum of two years of bartending experience, preferably within luxury hotels or resorts, and strong skills in multitasking, communication, and problem-solving.

Job Requirements

  • Strong written and oral presentation skills

  • Ability to pour, mix, and blend a wide variety, of wines, spirits, and missed drinks
  • Ability to accurately process cash and credit card transactions
  • Strong problem solving skills, ability to handle difficult situations and guests
  • Candidates must possess valid US work authorization
  • This position is not eligible for work sponsorship/visa

Job Duties

  • Prepare and serve a selection of wines, spirits and mixed drinks from the menu while ensuring proper pouring, mixing, and blending according to established recipes and established Four Seasons standards
  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of all alcoholic and non-alcoholic ingredients and drinks to answer questions and accommodate off-menu requests
  • Confirm guest orders including any special needs or requests from the lounge server using the hotel's point-of-sales system
  • check completed orders with the guest's original order
  • Service and take orders from guests seated at a bar area offering interesting, and vivid descriptions of each item's, origin, taste, and preparation methods
  • Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests
  • Breakdown, clean and set-up of bar and back-bar stations
  • Properly and accurately close guest checks
  • process cash and credit card payments
