Job Description

The role is that of a Bartender, which is a critical position within the organization. Bartenders are responsible for crafting cocktails, serving beverages, and ensuring compliance with liquor laws and established policies.
As a Bartender, you will be essential in maintaining bar supplies efficiently, preparing daily requisitions as needed, and being fully familiar with the variety of liquors, drink recipes, prices, proper glassware, and garnishes. This role also involves ensuring that cash handling procedures are followed accurately, utilizing the MICROS system or registers, managing discounts, bank procedures, and tip policies. You will be responsible for charging guests correctly and managing all monetary transactions precisely.
You will play an important role in engaging with guests by anticipating their needs, responding promptly, and maintaining positive guest relations at all times. Handling guest complaints effectively to ensure satisfaction is a key component of the job. Additionally, formal training related to liquor liability will be provided within 30 days of employment and every two years thereafter to uphold compliance and safety standards.
The position offers a pay rate starting at $10 per hour plus tips, with potential for growth within the company. The employment type is likely part-time or full-time with varied scheduling that may include nights, weekends, and holidays, accommodating the needs of a hospitality environment.

Job Duties
- Efficiently maintain bar supplies including preparation of daily requisition as necessary
- be completely familiar with all the different kinds of liquor, recipes and prices of drinks, proper glassware used for each recipe, as well as garnishes needed
- know drink recipes, prices and type of beverages available
- be familiar with accurate cash handling procedures to include proper discounting, MICROS system or registers, bank procedures and tip policies
- anticipate guest needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, maintaining positive guest relations at all times
- resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction in each interaction
- be formally trained regarding liquor liability within 30 days of employment and every 2 years thereafter
