The Bartender acts as a key team member in enhancing the member experience by providing friendly and efficient service, addressing customer inquiries, and ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment.\n\nBartenders at Life Time also manage bar inventory, restocking supplies such as liquors, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic ingredients, and replacing beer barrels as needed. Accuracy in cash handling through reconciling the bar’s cash register at the end of shifts is an important duty that ensures operational accountability. The role involves physical demands, such as frequently bending to lift items over 20 pounds and standing for extended periods while moving around the café area. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 to 2 years of bartending experience
- Certified to serve alcohol
- CPR AED certification required within the first 30 days of hire
- Ability to routinely and repetitively bend to lift more than 20 lbs
- Ability to work in a stationery position and move about the cafe for prolonged periods of time
Job Qualifications

- Experience with inventory and ordering preferred
Job Duties
- Follows recipes in order to appropriately prepare cocktails and other drinks including adding garnish
- Serves members and customers in a timely fashion including checking identification accepting payment and answering any questions that may arise
- Maintains cleanliness by cleaning bar surface furniture and equipment and returning used dishware to the bar or kitchen
- Maintains supplies by re-stocking liquors wines beer and non-alcoholic ingredients and replacing beer barrels
- Reconciles the bar's cash register at the end of the shift
