The opportunity being offered is at the brand new Hotel Indigo Cleveland Gateway, a property that exemplifies modern, stylish hospitality with 143 guest rooms and suites, over 2,400 square feet of meeting space, and two unique dining outlets including its signature restaurant. The hotel provides the perfect setting for hospitality professionals eager to develop their careers in a vibrant and dynamic environment. This role is for a Bartender who will be an integral part of the team, responsible for delivering memorable and personable connections to guests. The Bartender role requires not only a thorough knowledge of beverages but also the ability to create an exceptional experience through engaging service, attention to detail, and the capacity to work under pressure within a fast-paced and customer-oriented atmosphere.

Successful candidates will be involved in greeting guests promptly and warmly, ensuring the bar is properly set up daily, and guiding guests through their beverage journey by skillfully describing menu offerings. The Bartender must accurately take and confirm orders including special requests, manage stock and perishable items, and prepare drinks following standard recipes while practicing portion control. Collaboration with other restaurant servers and kitchen staff is essential, as is resolving guest concerns to their satisfaction. Finalizing guest experiences through timely and precise billing processes and securing equipment and cash drops are also key responsibilities.
