Job Description

Life Time is a prominent health and fitness company committed to promoting a balanced and active lifestyle through state-of-the-art facilities and exceptional customer service. As a leader in the health club industry, Life Time offers a wide range of amenities including group fitness classes, personal training, spa services, and a variety of dining options to cater to the diverse needs of its members. The company’s philosophy emphasizes wellness, community, and inclusivity, creating an environment where every member feels valued and supported on their health journey.

The Bartender position at Life Time plays a vital role within this dynamic environment, responsible for preparing and serving beverages in compliance with all legal alcohol serving requirements. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys engaging with customers and delivering exemplary hospitality services in a clean and well-maintained setting. The bartender ensures smooth operations by crafting beverages using established recipes, offering personalized service to members and guests, and maintaining an organized and sanitary bar area. Beyond preparing drinks, the role involves handling transactions, verifying legal identification, and managing inventory by restocking supplies and ensuring the bar is fully equipped for all shifts.

This is an hourly position with a competitive pay scale starting at $16.50 and rising to $19.50, depending on experience and qualifications. Employment at Life Time comes with comprehensive benefits for both part-time and full-time team members. While part-time employees enjoy perks like a fully subsidized membership, discounts on company products, and paid sick leave where applicable, full-time staff qualify for enhanced benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and retirement plans. These benefits reflect Life Time’s commitment to supporting their team members’ health, wellness, and financial security.

The ideal candidate for the Bartender role will exhibit a strong understanding of responsible alcohol service, possess certification to serve alcohol, and be prepared to obtain CPR/AED certification within the first 30 days. Experience in bartending ranging from one to two years is preferred, with additional value placed on candidates familiar with inventory management and ordering. The physical demands of the job require the ability to bend frequently, lift more than 20 pounds, and remain on their feet for extended periods, all within a fast-paced, social environment.

Working as a Bartender at Life Time offers more than just a job; it provides the opportunity to be part of a vibrant community focused on health, enjoyment, and professional growth. Through ongoing training and development opportunities, team members are encouraged to enhance their skills and advance their careers within a supportive and inclusive workplace culture.
