We are currently seeking a skilled and personable Restaurant Bartender to join our team at one of our hotel restaurants. This role is essential in delivering memorable dining and beverage experiences to our guests by crafting and serving a wide range of high-quality drinks. As a bartender at HVMG, you will not only mix and serve drinks but also maintain the bar’s cleanliness, manage inventory, and create a welcoming atmosphere where guests can relax and enjoy their visit. The position offers a unique opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality and mixology to develop their skills and grow within the hospitality industry. The role reports directly to the Beverage Manager or Restaurant Manager and plays a critical part in guest satisfaction and the overall success of the restaurant operations.

In this role, you will be responsible for creating innovative cocktails that delight guests and represent HVMG’s commitment to quality. You will apply your knowledge of mixology techniques and beverage trends to provide an exceptional experience. Apart from crafting drinks, you will maintain an organized and hygienic bar area, ensuring compliance with safety and health standards. Exceptional communication skills and a warm, professional demeanor are necessary to engage with guests and handle diverse requests with ease and efficiency. This position requires the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, inherent to hospitality operations.

Job Requirements

  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • Sufficient education and/or literacy to read product labels and communicate with guests
  • Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, and lift as required with or without reasonable accommodations
  • Availability to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Warm, professional demeanor reflecting HVMG’s Culture of Excellence

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in bartending or hospitality is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of mixology and beverage preparation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Demonstrated customer service skills

Job Duties

  • Mix and serve a variety of beverages including innovative cocktails
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
  • Manage bar inventory and restock supplies as necessary
  • Provide exceptional customer service and engage with guests in a friendly manner
  • Comply with all health and safety regulations
  • Collaborate with Beverage Manager and Restaurant Manager to ensure smooth bar operations
  • Handle cash and process payments accurately
