Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous bartending experience required
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 30 lbs
- Must comply with all state liquor laws
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- Strong customer service orientation
- Basic knowledge of beverage preparation
- Must be able to perform side work timely and accurately
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience in bartending or a similar role
- Knowledge of premium beverages including beer, wine, and liquors
- Ability to open bottles of wine
- Familiarity with premium beverage pricing
- Knowledge of state liquor laws
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to operate POS systems accurately
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for cash handling
Job Duties
- Make and serve drinks to guests and cocktail servers
- Follow Marriott beverage standards and procedures, using Marriott's beverage manual and recipe book as references
- Know premium items - beer, wines, liquors and knows prices - can open bottle of wine
- Inform guests of all beverage, food, and bar promotions
- Clean bar of empty glasses and dishes
- Can answer basic questions, give directions and information about local areas
- Performs side work accurately and in a timely manner
