Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of supervisory experience in food and beverage
- 2+ years of bar experience
- valid Operator's License or ability to obtain one
- food safety certification completion within 6 months
- ability to be cross-trained in all general restaurant staff positions within 6 months
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- capable of bending, crouching, and lifting up to 50 lbs
- reliable transportation for varied shifts
- English proficiency
- commitment to company values and culture
- flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
Job Qualifications
- 1+ years of supervisory experience in the food and beverage industry
- 2+ years of bar-specific experience
- valid Operator's License or willingness to obtain upon hire
- ability to complete a food safety certification within 6 months
- cross-trained to perform front of house, kitchen, and shift lead duties within 6 months
- proficiency in English
- bilingual in Spanish is a plus
- strong leadership and communication skills
- knowledge of craft beers and liquor
- ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Job Duties
- Lead and motivate the bar team to maintain high energy and service quality
- collaborate with the GM and AGM to provide training and support to the crew
- conduct staff training, provide feedback, and run quarterly performance reviews
- manage product ordering and inventory maintenance for the bar
- perform behind-the-scenes administrative tasks, including meetings, messages, and special projects
- ensure smooth bar operations and uphold Ian's customer service and quality standards
- assist on the floor by pouring drinks and serving customers during busy shifts
