Ian's Pizza Verona is an exciting new branch of the beloved Ian's Pizza brand, set to open its doors in the summer of 2026 in Verona. The Bar Manager role at Ian's Pizza Verona is not your typical bar management position. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of supervisory experience in food and beverage
  • 2+ years of bar experience
  • valid Operator's License or ability to obtain one
  • food safety certification completion within 6 months
  • ability to be cross-trained in all general restaurant staff positions within 6 months
  • ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • capable of bending, crouching, and lifting up to 50 lbs
  • reliable transportation for varied shifts
  • English proficiency
  • commitment to company values and culture
  • flexible schedule including evenings and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • 1+ years of supervisory experience in the food and beverage industry
  • 2+ years of bar-specific experience
  • valid Operator's License or willingness to obtain upon hire
  • ability to complete a food safety certification within 6 months
  • cross-trained to perform front of house, kitchen, and shift lead duties within 6 months
  • proficiency in English
  • bilingual in Spanish is a plus
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • knowledge of craft beers and liquor
  • ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Job Duties

  • Lead and motivate the bar team to maintain high energy and service quality
  • collaborate with the GM and AGM to provide training and support to the crew
  • conduct staff training, provide feedback, and run quarterly performance reviews
  • manage product ordering and inventory maintenance for the bar
  • perform behind-the-scenes administrative tasks, including meetings, messages, and special projects
  • ensure smooth bar operations and uphold Ian's customer service and quality standards
  • assist on the floor by pouring drinks and serving customers during busy shifts
