Job Requirements

  • Education level relevant to culinary arts or baking
  • Experience in baking or food preparation
  • Certification in food safety
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods
  • Willingness to wear uniform and personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Strong attention to food safety and sanitation standards
  • Good communication and teamwork skills

  • Knowledge of baking procedures, criteria, and sanitation regulations
  • Certification in food safety
  • Mastery of basic mathematical skills and numeracy
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills in both written and verbal forms

Job Duties

  • Utilize standardized recipes and production guidelines to bake a variety of goods
  • Arrange work surface with essential supplies and ingredients for baking
  • Organize components by measuring, weighing, combining, chopping, and other preparation steps
  • Work with baking equipment like ovens, stovetops, and mixers
  • Practice safe handling of utensils while cooking and preparing meals
  • Adhere to guidelines for the safe storage of food products
  • Clean and disinfect workspaces, tools, and utensils after use to promote hygiene
  • Prioritize exceptional customer service and maintain a positive attitude when engaging with guests, clients, customers, coworkers, and others
  • Follow Aramark's safety protocols focusing on food safety and sanitation practices
  • Uphold the safety of organizational assets by complying with security guidelines
