This full-time Food and Beverage Non-Management role at JW Marriott Saint Louis involves performing essential closing duties that ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of the food service environment. Located at 800 Washington Ave, Saint Louis, Missouri, this position requires a candidate who is detail-oriented, diligent, and capable of maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization. The responsibilities include storing reusable goods, breaking down and cleaning equipment, locking refrigerators, restocking items, and securing the premises by locking doors and turning off lights at the end of the shift. The role also involves setting up and maintaining work areas, inspecting the cleanliness of china, glass, and silverware before use, and practicing clean-as-you-go procedures throughout the day to uphold health and safety standards.

Job Duties

  • Complete closing duties including storing reusable goods, breaking down goods, cleaning all equipment and areas, returning equipment to proper locations, locking refrigerators, restocking items, turning off lights, locking doors, and completing daily cleaning checklist
  • Set up, stock, and maintain work areas
  • Inspect the cleanliness and presentation of all china, glass, and silver prior to use
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day practicing clean-as-you-go procedures
  • Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager
  • Complete safety training and certifications
