Job Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older
Must have a valid drivers license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation
Open availability and ability to work a minimum of 5 days and 32 to 48 hours per week
Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
Successful completion of background check
Must possess leadership qualities, organizational skills, and ability to interact cooperatively with others
1-3 years management experience required
Restaurant management experience preferred

Job Duties

Complete all training requirements including Zaxbys Assistant Manager Development Plan
Obtain food safety certification and manager certification
Ensure team members enhance guest experiences by exceeding guest expectations
Provide proper training and ongoing coaching for team members
Create effective work schedules following company standards and local laws
Plan and delegate shift assignments with clear communication and adjustments as needed
Supervise, lead, and coach team members to perform at their highest ability and meet quarterly goals
Ensure service, product quality, and cleanliness standards are consistently upheld
Communicate performance concerns to the General Manager
Assist with performance reviews and mentoring team members
Foster a positive culture and healthy team morale through recognition and leading by example
Handle and report guest and team member complaints, concerns, and injuries in a timely and respectful manner
Ensure all processes, policies, and procedures are followed during daily operations
Maintain operational standards and compliance with Zaxbys franchising guidelines
Comply with federal, state, and local laws
Utilize management tools to keep accurate and current records
Maintain a flexible attitude to perform beyond position parameters
Ensure team follows all safety guidelines and procedures
Immediately report human resources and risk management concerns
Escalate other concerns appropriately
Perform all duties necessary for proper restaurant operations
