Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • must have a valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation
  • open availability and ability to work minimum of 5 days and 32 to 48 hours per week
  • ability to work flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • successful completion of background check
  • must possess leadership qualities, organizational skills, and ability to interact cooperatively with others
  • 1-3 years management experience required
  • restaurant management experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Complete all training requirements including Zaxbys Assistant Manager Development Plan
  • obtain food safety certification and manager certification
  • ensure team members satisfy and exceed guest expectations
  • provide proper training and ongoing coaching to team members
  • create effective work schedules following company and local law standards
  • plan and delegate shift assignments and communicate expectations
  • supervise and coach team members to achieve quarterly goals
  • uphold service, product quality, and cleanliness standards
  • communicate performance concerns to General Manager
  • assist with performance reviews and mentor team members
  • maintain positive culture and team morale
  • handle and report guest and employee complaints and injuries timely
  • enforce adherence to all processes, policies, and procedures
  • maintain operational standards and comply with franchising guidelines
  • ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws
  • utilize management tools and maintain accurate records
  • uphold safety guidelines and procedures
  • report human resources and risk management concerns promptly
  • escalate issues to supervisors as necessary
  • perform other duties to ensure restaurant operations function properly
