MDB Restaurants, Inc., doing business as Golden Corral, is a well-established franchise organization known for its family-style dining experience and diverse menu offerings. Golden Corral operates independently owned and operated franchise locations across the United States, providing guests with a warm and welcoming atmosphere along with fresh, made-from-scratch meals. The company is committed to delivering quality service, value, and comfort to its customers while providing continuous growth opportunities for its team members. As a franchisee of Golden Corral, MDB Restaurants, Inc. prides itself on fostering an inclusive work environment where hardworking and motivated individuals can thrive and advance their careers in the restaurant industry.

This job opportunity is for an entry-level hourly management position with MDB Restaurants, Inc. at a Golden Corral location. The role is ideal for individuals with some restaurant management experience who seek to grow professionally within a dynamic and supportive team. Employees in this position will be cross-trained in all operational areas of the restaurant, including skill positions such as ordering, receiving, storage management, and menu planning. Working closely with General and Associate Managers, the new hire will gain comprehensive knowledge of day-to-day restaurant operations.

The position includes enrollment in an extensive one-year certification program featuring a series of instructional modules designed to develop in-store management skills comprehensively. This structured training allows candidates to build expertise in managing food service operations effectively, handling high-volume requirements, and leading teams to deliver exceptional customer service. The program helps prepare employees for future leadership roles within the franchise organization, emphasizing operational excellence and guest satisfaction.

MDB Restaurants, Inc. offers competitive hourly compensation ranging from $14.00 to $17.00 per hour, reflecting the importance of this role in maintaining the smooth functioning of the restaurant. Along with paid training, the company provides benefits tailored to meet the individual needs of its employees and their families. Staff members are encouraged to take advantage of upward mobility opportunities within the Golden Corral franchise, making this a promising career path for those passionate about the food service industry.

Candidates applying for this position should be prepared to complete an additional online questionnaire specific to the job, which will help the franchisee evaluate their fit for the role. It is important to note that MDB Restaurants, Inc., as a franchisee of Golden Corral, independently manages hiring decisions and day-to-day employee relations at this location. All inquiries related to this job opportunity should be directed to the franchise location rather than Golden Corral Corporate.

MDB Restaurants, Inc. and Golden Corral uphold equal employment opportunity principles, welcoming applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or other legally protected characteristics. This commitment underscores the company’s dedication to diversity and inclusion in its workforce.
