18 Degrees Bar & Grill is a prominent dining establishment recognized for its commitment to delivering exceptional food and beverage experiences to its clientele. Situated in a bustling metropolitan area, the restaurant offers a diverse menu that caters to a wide range of tastes and preferences, providing guests with a comfortable yet dynamic environment. The restaurant prides itself on a culture of teamwork, innovation, and dedication to superior customer service, making it a preferred destination for both casual diners and special event gatherings.

As an integral part of the food and beverage industry, 18 Degrees Bar & Grill combines culinary excellence with efficient service operations to meet and exceed the expectations of its diverse customer base. The management team is steadfast in promoting a workplace that is both inclusive and supportive, encouraging staff growth and operational excellence. This dedication extends to maintaining the highest standards of food safety, cleanliness, and operational efficiency, ensuring not only customer satisfaction but also adherence to regulatory requirements.

The role of Assistant Manager at 18 Degrees Bar & Grill is pivotal in sustaining the restaurant's excellence and operational success. This position entails direct supervision of all working personnel within the kitchen and back-of-house operations, ensuring quality and prompt food and beverage service. The Assistant Manager is entrusted with both administrative duties and hands-on responsibilities, working closely with the Bar Manager to oversee the entire operation including front-of-house staff, customer service, and overall daily activities.

An essential function of this role is the leadership and development of the back-of-house team including scheduling, training, and motivating kitchen staff. The Assistant Manager is expected to be proficient and flexible enough to fill in various kitchen positions and personally cook on the line as necessary. This hands-on approach reinforces the commitment to quality and delivers a seamless guest experience.

The position demands availability for a range of shifts including nights and weekends to accommodate the restaurant's operational hours and special event scheduling. The Manager contributes to achieving the department's monetary goals by monitoring food costs, inventory controls, and ordering processes without compromising quality or safety.

Compliance with health and safety regulations is a critical component of this role. The Assistant Manager must ensure strict adherence to sanitation standards, state laws, and Maricopa County Health Department regulations. Possession of a current Food Handlers Card and National Serv Safe Certification is mandatory, along with a commitment to ongoing training and updates in food safety practices.

This leadership role requires strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities, and a positive attitude to manage disciplinary issues, handle customer service challenges, and maintain a harmonious and productive work environment. The Assistant Manager works closely with the Restaurant General Manager and People Operations to enforce policies and implement solutions that enhance operational efficiency.

Overall, this role is suited for an accountable, team-oriented individual with a passion for the food and beverage industry and a desire to grow within a dynamic restaurant setting. The position is not only about managing daily operations but also about driving innovation in menu offerings, contributing to marketing efforts through attendance at events, and ensuring that every guest leaves with a memorable experience at 18 Degrees Bar & Grill.
