As a Restaurant Assistant General Manager at Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort, you will be an integral part of the Food and Beverage Team, directly overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Bourbon Steak dining outlet and working alongside the Restaurant General Manager. Job Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of restaurant management experience in upscale dining
- Experience with financial management and cost control
- Strong leadership and team building abilities
- Knowledge of health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol regulations
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Job Duties
- Lead daily operations including guest service standards, product quality, inventory, cost controls, profitability, marketing, budgeting, and enforcing policies and procedures
- Deliver exceptional guest experiences by monitoring service and product quality, assessing guest satisfaction, addressing issues, and identifying improvement opportunities
- Inspire and develop the team by supervising, coaching, mentoring, conducting performance evaluations, and providing professional development
- Drive revenue growth through marketing strategies, up-selling techniques, and promotional initiatives
- Recruit, interview, and onboard new team members to maintain service standards
