We are currently seeking a Restaurant Assistant General Manager who will play a pivotal role in the daily operations of this beloved restaurant. The Restaurant Assistant General Manager acts as a critical partner to the General Manager, especially in overseeing financial performance, maintaining cost controls, and implementing strategic plans aimed at improving business results. Additional responsibilities include managing schedules to ensure adequate staffing, conducting interviews, and aiding in the selection process to maintain optimal team levels. This role offers a competitive base salary between $65,000 and $75,000, complemented by monthly bonuses. Job Duties

  • Ensures flawless execution of every detail by every team member on every shift
  • Provides direction, coaching, training and development for team members including food quality, service standards, safety and sanitation, and company policies and procedures
  • Ensures all food, beverage and service standards, policies and procedures are adhered to
  • Partners with the GM to ensure financial performance of the restaurant
  • Ensures consistent execution of all systems, standards, inventory and cost controls
  • Partners with the GM to create and implement plans that result in improved financial performance
  • Plans, executes and follows up on new company initiatives in partnership with GM
  • Utilizes catering team to inspire community involvement and build sales
  • Ensures appropriate staffing levels and schedules based on projections
  • Interviews and assists in final selection of team members
  • Verifies that all daily administration is carried out according to policy and standards
  • Organizes and plans work anticipating changing business needs
  • Communicates effectively with guests, team members, management, owners, and vendors
  • Responds promptly to guest feedback ensuring positive guest recovery
  • Maintains cleanliness of facilities and supplies
  • Follows safety procedures and creates a safe, harassment-free work environment
  • Manages multiple priorities and works well under stress with good judgment
