This role is full-time with a competitive salary ranging between $56,000 and $64,000 annually, along with performance-based incentive bonuses that reward contributions and success in the position.

The Alamo Restaurant & Theater Manager position is a multifaceted leadership role designed for individuals who are passionate about both restaurant and theater operations. These managers assist the General Manager in the day-to-day management of the venue, ensuring smooth and efficient operations across various departments including bar service, guest attendants, concierge, events, facilities maintenance, production, and more. Their primary focus revolves around upholding and enhancing guest satisfaction and teammate development, contributing to a workplace where excellence and fun coexist. Managers oversee quality assurance, staffing and scheduling, inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintenance of the venue to guarantee an outstanding atmosphere for all visitors.

Job Requirements

  • Must hold self and others accountable to maintain high-performance and behavior standards
  • Prior management experience in hospitality, restaurant, and/or entertainment preferred
  • Basic computer skills required
  • Ability to write and communicate clearly
  • Problem-solving capabilities necessary
  • Comfortable multitasking and adapting to dynamic environments
  • Must be able to perform physical activities such as light lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, walking up and down stairs, and operating POS systems
  • Comfortable working in a kitchen environment with exposure to heat, steam, fire, noise
  • Must position oneself discreetly in theaters

  • Previous management experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Manage all costs of goods and maintain vendor relationships within assigned areas such as bar, guest attendants, concierge, and events
  • Report operational successes and opportunities to the General Manager
  • Assist in executing the monthly inventory process
  • Implement action items derived from profit and loss and operating expense ratio analyses by the General Manager
  • Uphold company core values, code of conduct, and operational guidelines
  • Lead front-of-house service and coordinate the team
  • Handle patron complaints and transform unsatisfactory experiences
  • Monitor patron feedback for ideas and opportunities
  • Ensure operational and safety protocols are strictly followed
  • Maintain standards of facility and equipment within the venue
  • Develop team members to build leadership bench strength and execute learning and development programs
  • Identify and cultivate hourly key leaders
  • Track performance issues and conduct coaching conversations
  • Celebrate team successes
