Job Description

Lucky Strike Entertainment, formerly known as Bowlero Corp, stands as one of the world’s premier location-based entertainment platforms. With a widespread presence featuring over 360 locations across North America, Lucky Strike Entertainment is recognized for delivering exceptional experiential offerings in bowling, amusements, water parks, and family entertainment centers. The company’s portfolio also proudly includes ownership of the Professional Bowlers Association, the major league of bowling that commands a passionate fan base of millions worldwide. For those seeking a dynamic and engaging workplace within the entertainment and hospitality industry, Lucky Strike Entertainment epitomizes a vibrant environment where enjoyment and professionalism coexist. The centers thrive on bringing people together for unforgettable experiences through bowling, arcade games, amazing parties, and delicious food, continually elevating guest satisfaction and community engagement.

The role of Restaurant / Entertainment Manager at Lucky Strike Entertainment is a crucial leadership position that combines active, hands-on management with guest-focused service delivery. This position is constantly on its feet, orchestrating multiple team members and navigating real-time problem-solving scenarios to maintain smooth and effective center operations. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Restaurant / Entertainment Manager essentially serves as the second-in-command, stepping forward to oversee all aspects of the center’s functioning in the General Manager’s absence. This includes managing entertainment offerings, Food & Beverage operations, and the upkeep and management of the property and its equipment.

This role is far from typical management; it’s a vibrant, fast-paced leadership opportunity in a unique entertainment environment. The manager will be tasked with maintaining an unwavering commitment to guest satisfaction while fostering the development of the team’s hourly staff. One of the defining characteristics of this role is the blend of operational responsibilities with people development, requiring an individual who excels in both areas. Furthermore, this role offers a clear pathway for career advancement, serving as an ideal stepping stone for those aiming to become a General Manager at one of the centers. With a pay range of $27.00 to $31.00 per hour, this position offers competitive compensation paired with performance-based incentives and a comprehensive total rewards package that includes healthcare coverage and a variety of other benefits.

The Restaurant / Entertainment Manager will champion guest service, ensuring that exceptional service standards are consistently met and that guest feedback is actively solicited and addressed promptly. Operational excellence is a priority, with duties including optimizing staffing schedules to match the center’s needs and maximize the guest experience. Business growth is encouraged through the execution of targeted marketing strategies such as leagues and open play bowling. Establishing strong partnerships with league bowlers and officers is also integral, requiring adherence to league formats and management of league-related communications and administrative tasks.

Recruitment, hiring, training, and scheduling are foundational tasks for assembling a talented hourly team, while leadership skills are essential for motivating and leveraging the strengths of team members. The manager must also oversee Food & Beverage program management, focusing on maintaining the highest quality standards and driving sales performance by nurturing a culture of excellence and consistency. Finally, flexibility is key as this role demands the ability to work varying shifts that include nights, weekends, holidays, and sometimes extended workdays to align with the center’s operational requirements. This is an exciting opportunity for those who are passionate about guest satisfaction, team development, and operational leadership within a fun and energetic environment.
