In this role, the successful candidate will plan and manage the operations of multiple food and beverage outlets, including restaurant dining, room service, nightlife venues, and special events, to ensure exceptional guest satisfaction and uphold luxury service standards throughout the property. This comprehensive position involves overseeing nightlife and entertainment operations such as DJ programming, live entertainment, themed events, and other experiential activities designed to engage guests and elevate the hotel’s brand presence in Boston’s competitive nightlife scene. Working closely with marketing, public relations, security, and events teams, the manager will orchestrate seamless, safe, and high-energy nightlife experiences that drive revenue and strengthen brand loyalty. The role demands leadership in managing peak operating hours, VIP service standards, and vendor coordination to maintain operational readiness and optimize profitability.

Additionally, the manager will oversee daily food and beverage operations across various outlets including restaurants, lounges, bars, and room service during multiple meal periods. Responsibilities include ensuring consistent execution of luxury service standards, managing labor and beverage costs, forecasting staffing needs, and partnering with culinary leadership to maintain menu integrity and beverage quality. Compliance with cleanliness, sanitation, maintenance, and regulatory standards is paramount, along with strict inventory control, purchasing practices, and cost containment initiatives. This role requires a strategic and innovative mindset to continuously enhance programming and service delivery, providing dynamic and relevant experiences that keep the venues competitive in the vibrant Boston market. The position offers an annual salary range between $70,000 and $75,000 and is a full-time opportunity designed for professionals with a passion for managing high-volume hospitality operations and delivering premium service within a luxury hotel setting.

Job Requirements

  • 2-4 years of food and beverage management experience preferably in hotel, restaurant, or nightlife environment
  • Experience managing high-volume bar or nightlife operations strongly preferred
  • Proven leadership experience overseeing multi-outlet teams in fast-paced environment
  • Strong understanding of labor management, beverage operations, and revenue optimization
  • Experience with nightlife programming, entertainment operations, or event-driven service models preferred
  • Ability to work evenings, late nights, weekends, and holidays based on business demands
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Lead evening and late-night operations including DJ programming and live entertainment
  • Execute and evolve signature nightlife programming such as jazz, fashion shows, and themed events
  • Partner with marketing, PR, security, and events teams to deliver safe and high-energy guest experiences
  • Manage floor operations during peak nightlife periods ensuring guest engagement and service execution
  • Oversee VIP and table service standards maximizing revenue opportunities
  • Coordinate entertainment logistics including DJ and vendor scheduling and communication
  • Manage daily operations across restaurants, lounges, bars, and room service
  • Ensure consistent execution of luxury service standards
  • Monitor labor and beverage costs while supporting revenue growth
  • Forecast staffing needs and manage schedules based on business demand
  • Partner with culinary and F&B leadership to maintain menu integrity and beverage standards
  • Ensure outlets meet cleanliness, sanitation, maintenance, and regulatory compliance
  • Oversee inventory control, purchasing practices, and cost-containment initiatives
  • Identify opportunities to innovate and enhance weekly and seasonal programming
