Positioned a stone's throw away from the Avon Old Farms Hotel, Max Burger is a chef-driven hamburger restaurant that prides itself on delivering a farm-to-table dining experience within an upscale gastro-pub environment. Since its inception in 2009, Max Burger has been dedicated to elevating the classic American hamburger through a menu that emphasizes the use of seasonal produce, locally sourced dairy products, and artisanal grains. The restaurant is particularly known for its all-natural Brandt Beef, hand-cut fries, and inventive milkshakes, attracting a discerning clientele that values quality, creativity, and a vibrant dining atmosphere.

They will be responsible for ensuring smooth daily operations while maintaining Max Burger’s high standards. This includes upholding food and beverage safety protocols, managing daily cash handling, overseeing third-party delivery systems, and leading staff meetings. Collaboration with the General Manager and Managing Partner on staffing, scheduling, and performance is essential to foster a motivated team environment. The Restaurant Manager will also play a critical role in staff development by interviewing, hiring, training, coaching, and disciplining team members as needed.

Max Hospitality values creativity, teamwork, and a passion for hospitality. The Restaurant Manager will be expected to build strong team morale while contributing to a positive workplace culture. A focus on operational excellence and financial acumen is important, with responsibilities to track sales, monitor costs, and help drive overall business success. Additionally, the role includes becoming ServSafe and TIPS certified within 90 days to ensure compliance with industry standards. Max Burger’s commitment to diversity and inclusion creates a healthy work atmosphere by welcoming applications from all qualified individuals, regardless of background or identity.

Working with Max Hospitality offers significant benefits including competitive pay with quarterly bonuses, a shift meal and monthly dining allowance, fully employer-paid disability insurance, and flexible scheduling. Career development opportunities within the Max Hospitality Group are emphasized, supported by health, dental, and vision insurance coverage, paid time off starting from day one, and a referral program offering monetary incentives. Retirement planning is encouraged through a 401(k) plan with employer matching up to 4%, along with other benefits such as life, accident, critical illness, pet insurance, and flexible spending accounts, demonstrating the company's robust commitment to employee wellbeing and growth.
