Job Description

Anchorage Golf Course is a premier golf facility known not only for its exceptional golfing experience but also for its commitment to delivering top-tier dining and event services. Nestled in a scenic environment that attracts both local residents and visitors, Anchorage Golf Course offers a unique blend of recreational and hospitality services. The establishment prides itself on maintaining a welcoming atmosphere that enhances the overall experience of its patrons, making it a popular destination throughout the year. Beyond golf, the facility features a vibrant restaurant and event space that caters to a diverse clientele, from casual diners to guests celebrating special occasions. Its focus on excellence in both food and service underscores the venue's reputation as a cornerstone of community engagement and leisure in the area.

The Restaurant and Events Operations Manager at Anchorage Golf Course is a pivotal full-time leadership position responsible for managing and elevating all facets of the restaurant's operations. This role demands a strategic thinker with the capacity to develop and implement innovative plans aimed at boosting the restaurant’s appeal and customer satisfaction year-round. The manager will spearhead efforts to revitalize the restaurant’s services and event offerings, ensuring an engaging, seamless experience for every guest. A key aspect of this role involves fostering a positive team culture, motivating staff to deliver exceptional service consistently, and embracing a meticulous approach to operational excellence. With a focus on detail and the delivery of best-in-class customer service, the manager is expected to enhance patron engagement and drive revenue growth, especially during off-peak seasons when golf activity is lower. The position requires strong collaboration skills, as the manager will work closely with kitchen staff, marketing teams, suppliers, and other departments to create cohesive and appealing events and dining experiences.

The manager is also responsible for operational logistics, including scheduling, hiring, training, inventory management, and compliance with all health, safety, and liquor laws. They will analyze financial reports and performance metrics to adjust strategies promptly, ensuring that the restaurant meets its profitability targets. Additionally, the role includes overseeing quality control, food safety systems, and the physical maintenance of the restaurant facilities and equipment. With a salary starting from $53,000 per year, this role offers an excellent opportunity for a seasoned restaurant professional to lead a dynamic team in a respected golf course environment while enjoying comprehensive benefits including health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, 401(k), and employee discounts. The position is based onsite and requires a candidate who values hands-on leadership and is eager to make a visible impact in a fast-paced, people-focused business.
