The role of Restaurant Server is a vital position responsible for ensuring every guest receives courteous and efficient service throughout their dining experience. As a Restaurant Server, you will be the face of the establishment, welcoming guests, assisting with seating arrangements, and guiding them through menu selections with your thorough knowledge of ingredients, preparation methods, and specials. You will take food and beverage orders with great attention to detail, ensuring all special requests and dietary restrictions are noted and respected. Prompt and accurate food and beverage service is essential, as is maintaining a clean and inviting table setting.

This position requires excellent interpersonal skills to engage with customers in a friendly and attentive manner, addressing any concerns promptly and professionally. You will also play a role in increasing sales by suggesting appetizers, desserts, and beverages to enhance the dining experience. Collaboration with kitchen staff and other servers is key to smooth service flow and customer satisfaction. The role also involves processing payments accurately and adhering to all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards, ensuring the restaurant maintains compliance with local health regulations.

Servers will occasionally participate in special events, parties, and catering functions, contributing to the versatile needs of the restaurant. Physical stamina is important, as the job involves extended periods of standing, walking, and occasional heavy lifting up to 50 pounds. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • experience working in a restaurant or similar hospitality environment preferred

  • availability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
