Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- experience working in a restaurant or similar hospitality environment preferred
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- alcohol awareness certification preferred
- willingness to comply with food safety and hygiene regulations
- availability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent
- experience in the hospitality or restaurant industry preferred
- knowledge of alcohol awareness and serving regulations
- strong communication and customer service skills
- ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- familiarity with food safety and sanitation practices
- proficiency in handling payment processing and cash transactions
Job Duties
- Welcome guests and escort them to their tables
- provide menus and assist with seating arrangements
- listen attentively to food and beverage orders noting special instructions
- input orders accurately into the ordering system
- serve food and drinks promptly ensuring proper presentation
- offer recommendations based on menu knowledge
- suggest additional items to enhance guest experience
- maintain clean and properly set tables
- clear empty dishes and reset tables efficiently
- engage with guests in a friendly manner and address concerns
- present bills and handle payment transactions accurately
- collaborate with kitchen staff and fellow servers
- adhere to food safety and sanitation standards
- participate in special events and catering functions
