The Resource Specialist role at Neighborhood House is a full-time, non-exempt position offering 40 hours per week over 12 months per year. The position is hybrid, requiring a minimum of two days on-site per week in Seattle, WA, with pay ranging from $29.59 to $32.82 per hour. This role focuses on conducting culturally sensitive outreach within specific communities, primarily older adults, individuals with disabilities, and their caregivers. The Resource Specialist leverages culturally and linguistically competent methods to educate and connect these communities to social services and health resources available locally. This involves extensive community engagement, partnership building, and collaborative work with other Neighborhood House programs and staff to support shared goals. The Resource Specialist maintains connections with resource providers, community leaders, healthcare organizations, housing authorities, government entities, and other social services to ensure clients receive comprehensive support. Bilingual skills are preferred to support immigrant and refugee populations, requiring interpretation and translation services in both individual and group settings. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects while maintaining timely and accurate records. The Resource Specialist also participates in continuous quality improvement efforts to enhance program effectiveness and represents Neighborhood House within various community and professional networks.
