The Boys & Girls Club of the Northern Plains is a nonprofit organization committed to inspiring and enabling all young people, especially those who need support the most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens. The Resource Development Events and Data Coordinator is a vital full-time, non-exempt position based in Brookings, reporting directly to the Development Director. This role provides essential administrative and operational support to the Resource Development team, playing a key part in advancing the organization's fundraising efforts and donor stewardship. The Coordinator is responsible for managing donor data and records within the CRM system, ensuring data integrity and accurate reporting. By maintaining and updating donation and pledge information and supporting stewardship activities, this role helps strengthen donor relationships and facilitates effective communication with contributors.
In addition to data management, the Coordinator leads the planning, organization, and execution of multiple signature fundraising and community events, such as the annual raffle, gala, Youth of the Year celebration, and other club activities. This includes coordinating logistics, managing vendors, overseeing event timelines, and providing on-site support to ensure successful and meaningful occasions that engage donors and celebrate youth achievements. The position also supports marketing and communication efforts by collaborating with the marketing team to provide donor data and assist in developing newsletters, update reports, and event promotions.
Ideal candidates for this role are detail-oriented, highly organized professionals who enjoy multitasking and teamwork. Strong communication skills and the ability to manage confidential information with discretion are essential to effectively support donor relations and fundraising initiatives. Job Requirements

Job Duties
- Maintain accurate donor and pledge records within the CRM system, track donations, pledges, campaign activity, and stewardship actions, support recordkeeping for donor stewardship plans and the resource development calendar, ensure donor data integrity and adherence to internal data standards, prepare and process donor thank-you letters, pledge confirmations, and acknowledgment communications, assist with donor solicitation letters and pledge requests, coordinate donor and development-related mailings, support donor recognition efforts including spotlights and stewardship communications, serve as the lead coordinator for Club special events including the annual raffle, gala, Youth of the Year event, and other fundraising or community events, plan, organize, and execute all aspects of events including timelines, logistics, vendor coordination, and on-site support, provide administrative and logistical support for fundraising campaigns and initiatives, assist with preparation, tracking, and follow-up for fundraising activities, support stewardship plans for individual donors and corporate partners, collaborate with the marketing team to provide accurate donor data and content for newsletters and reports, assist in the development of quarterly newsletters, donor spotlights, and development updates, help manage timelines and materials aligned with the resource development calendar, support promotion and communication efforts related to special events, provide scheduling, coordination, and project support to the Regional Director(s) of Development, Administrative Team, and CEO, assist with internal reporting, documentation, and data requests related to fundraising and development, perform additional administrative and development-related duties as assigned
