Job Description
The Yurtopian in Wimberley is a distinguished high-end glamping resort known for providing unique and luxurious outdoor experiences to guests seeking to connect with nature without sacrificing comfort. Located in the scenic Texas Hill Country, The Yurtopian offers guests beautifully appointed yurts that blend rustic charm with modern amenities. This family-owned resort prides itself on crafting an environment focused on relaxation, adventure, and exceptional hospitality. The resort’s commitment to delivering a five-star guest experience is reflected in every aspect of its operations, from the maintenance of pristine accommodations to the attentive service provided by its dedicated team members.
Currently, The Yurtopian is seeking a dedicated and reliable Turnover Associate to join its team. This role is vital in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and comfort that guests expect during their stay. The Turnover Associate is primarily responsible for preparing the yurt accommodations between guests, ensuring that every detail meets the resort's quality benchmarks. This includes cleaning tasks such as laundering and folding linens, making beds, sweeping, mopping, dusting, organizing supplies, and removing trash. Each yurt must be meticulously prepared to provide an inviting and immaculate environment, equipped to deliver a five-star guest experience.
This position is tailored for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments, possess a strong work ethic, and demonstrate an ability to efficiently manage time, especially under pressure. Experience in roles such as bartending or food service is considered beneficial as it often cultivates many of the skills required for this job, including attention to detail, multitasking, and customer service orientation. The work environment is dynamic, with some days being particularly busy and others more relaxed, providing a balanced and engaging work experience.
Turnover Associates will also appreciate the unique setting of this position, as work is conducted outdoors and requires adaptability to the elements regardless of weather conditions. The resort embraces the natural surroundings, which means that employees must be comfortable working rain or shine at the serene glamping site.
In return for your dedication and hard work, The Yurtopian offers a competitive wage of $21 per hour along with comprehensive paid training to ensure you have all the tools needed for success. The employment hours are designed to accommodate a balanced lifestyle, with no night shifts and kid-friendly work hours from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, making it ideal for team members seeking flexible daytime work. As a family-owned business, The Yurtopian fosters a warm and supportive team-oriented culture, encouraging collaboration among staff members. Employees also enjoy the advantage of working in one of the most beautiful natural environments, enhancing job satisfaction and connection to the outdoors.
