The role of General Manager at The Varsity Club Tucson is pivotal to the resort's continued success and growth. This full-time leadership position is responsible for the overall management of the property, ensuring all aspects of the resort operate efficiently and effectively. The General Manager is charged with providing strategic direction and hands-on leadership to deliver an outstanding vacation experience that exceeds owner and guest expectations. This includes overseeing operational functions, financial performance, guest satisfaction, and team development. The role demands a proactive, customer-focused approach to leadership, with an emphasis on fostering a positive, collaborative team culture.

In this role, the General Manager will collaborate with various stakeholders including the Homeowners Association Board of Directors and business management staff to maintain accurate records, enforce cost controls, and ensure compliance with all operational and labor regulations. They will lead efforts to maintain high standards for the resort's physical appearance through regular inspections of units, buildings, and grounds, as well as manage crisis plans to guarantee guest and owner safety and security. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5 years of management experience in a comparable hospitality property
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
