Job Description

Flatiron Build Co is a dynamic and rapidly expanding residential remodeling company known for its systems-driven approach to high-end home renovations. Originally established and thriving in Denver, Flatiron Build Co is making a strategic move to expand its footprint into the Orange County, California market. Located centrally in Irvine, this new market aims to cover projects throughout a broad range of areas including San Clemente, Long Beach, and eastward toward Fullerton. The company specializes in luxury residential remodeling, encompassing kitchen and bathroom remodels, whole-home renovations, light structural work, and small additions. Flatiron Build Co integrates foundational construction expertise with cutting-edge technology and processes such as 3D design tools, AI-supported workflows, project management software, and a strong emphasis on premium customer experience. This combination enables them to deliver consistent, high-quality results while maintaining efficiency and excellent client communication.

The role available is a unique and impactful opportunity for a growth-oriented residential remodeling operator wanting to take on more than a traditional project management position. As the company launches its Orange County market, this full-time role offers a compelling base salary range of $105,000 to $120,000 annually, in addition to performance-based bonuses and attractive profit-sharing opportunities. The total earnings potential can exceed $200,000 as the market grows, supported by a proven operating model and active founder involvement.

This position is designed for an experienced construction professional, such as a senior project manager, operations manager, licensed general contractor, or a remodeling leader who seeks to play an instrumental part in building and leading a new regional market. The new hire will collaborate directly with the founder in the early stages to establish the subcontractor and vendor networks, drive sales consultations, support estimating and proposal development, and spearhead the first rounds of projects in the area. Alongside these responsibilities, this individual will oversee client relationships and project execution, help create scalable local processes and standards, and contribute to the growth of the Orange County market from its inception.

As the business scales, this role will evolve to become the local market leader responsible for all aspects of team management, client experience delivery, project execution quality, and operational efficiency. The company seeks a leader who is not only skilled in construction but also highly adaptable, systems-minded, and capable of strategic thinking. Strong communication skills and the ability to foster trust with high-end homeowners are essential, alongside a commitment to maintaining a premium client experience throughout the remodeling journey.

The role requires managing various moving parts across sales, pre-construction, and production phases using project management tools such as JobTread or similar platforms, ensuring transparency and organization. The ideal candidate will embrace the opportunity to improve and implement structured systems rather than resist them. Initial comprehensive training will include collaboration with the Denver team, covering sales processes, estimating approaches, project management systems, client experience standards, and subcontractor coordination processes.

Flatiron Build Co promotes an inclusive work environment that values entrepreneurial spirit balanced with coachability and operational discipline. Candidates should be comfortable working closely with founders in a high-growth environment and motivated by meaningful upside potential as the Orange County division expands. This role offers professional uniforms, a company tech package, structured paid training, and access to exclusive company events and perks. Overall, it is an exceptional opportunity for a residential remodeling professional aiming to transition from managing individual projects to leading a thriving, innovative market operation in one of California's most desirable residential areas.
