Job Description
Flatiron Build Co is a rapidly expanding residential remodeling company known for its systems-driven approach and commitment to high-quality craftsmanship and customer experience. Originally established in Denver, Colorado, Flatiron Build Co is extending its operations into the highly sought-after Orange County, California market, with a focal point around Irvine and projects spanning from San Clemente to Long Beach and east toward Fullerton. The company specializes in high-end residential remodeling—covering kitchens, bathrooms, whole-home renovations, light structural work, and small additions—using a modern operating model that integrates structured sales, clear estimating practices, advanced project management software, 3D design tools, AI-supported workflows, and a premium customer experience. This creates an innovative framework that ensures precision, transparency, and client satisfaction throughout all project stages.
The Orange County Market Launch role at Flatiron Build Co offers an exceptional opportunity to be at the forefront of growth as the company establishes and scales a new market territory. This full-time position comes with a competitive base salary range between $105,000 and $120,000, complemented by a performance-based bonus and profit-sharing opportunities. As the Orange County market grows, total earnings potential can exceed $200,000, reflecting the pivotal operator role in driving market success. This is more than a typical project management role; it is for a growth-oriented remodeling professional who wants autonomy, leadership responsibility, and the chance to collaborate closely with company founders and an experienced team.
Ideal candidates include senior project managers, operations managers, licensed general contractors, or other construction professionals with a strong background in residential remodeling, particularly in occupied-home projects. In the initial phase, the role demands building a local network of trusted subcontractors, vendors, and trade partners. The successful candidate will engage directly with sales consultations, estimating, proposal development, and actively participate in launching initial projects to build momentum in the Orange County market. Managing client relationships, overseeing project execution with keen attention to schedules, budgets, scopes, quality control, and excellent communication is essential.
Moreover, this role involves establishing local processes, standards, and operational expectations, creating a scalable blueprint for future growth. Using project management tools such as JobTread, Buildertrend, or CoConstruct helps maintain job transparency and organization, ensuring a smooth client experience. As the market matures, the role evolves into a general manager position, overseeing not only projects but also leading and expanding the local team, taking full responsibility for the client experience, operational performance, and profitability.
Flatiron Build Co values individuals who are not only experts in construction but also excel as communicators, operators, problem solvers, and leaders. The company fosters a culture based on structured systems and innovation, rather than traditional owner-operator models. This growth-minded role requires adaptability and a collaborative spirit ready to embrace technology, established workflows, and continuous improvement.
Initial training may be provided with the Denver team, covering sales processes, estimating methodologies, project management systems, client experience standards, subcontractor coordination, and the company’s technology stack. This comprehensive onboarding prepares the new operator to lead the Orange County market confidently and effectively.
Working on high-end residential projects such as kitchen and bathroom remodels, whole-home renovations, light structural modifications, and small additions, the new operator will avoid ground-up construction or commercial projects. The emphasis remains on delivering exceptional remodeling experiences within occupied homes, aligning with Flatiron Build Co’s reputation for excellence.
Overall, this role is perfect for someone who wants to combine hands-on construction knowledge with operational leadership in a high-growth environment. The position offers meaningful financial growth, professional development, and the chance to shape a thriving new market within a respected national brand.
