The role of Residential Porter, based within the Residences Department at Mandarin Oriental, Boston, is crucial for maintaining the high standards of service that the hotel is known for. This full-time permanent position reports to the Residential Manager and involves a variety of responsibilities designed to contribute to a seamless and exceptional living experience for residents. As a Residential Porter, your day-to-day duties include greeting residents, visitors, and vendors warmly and assisting with their needs, delivering incoming packages such as mail, dry cleaning, flowers, and groceries to residents’ apartments. Additionally, you will assist in coordinating residents’ requests and affairs, collaborating with other members of the residences team to ensure all services are conducted smoothly. This position demands a proactive attitude, excellent communication skills, and the physical ability to perform the required tasks, including lifting heavy items and standing for extended periods.
