The role of Maintenance Technician at Invitation Homes involves delivering high-quality maintenance services in single-family rental homes while prioritizing excellent customer service. Responsibilities include completing maintenance service requests in various trades, performing proactive and regular maintenance visits in resident homes, and demonstrating respect for the residents' living spaces. Technicians use a mobile app to manage and schedule maintenance visits, educate residents on home maintenance and functional systems, and perform the general upkeep and repair of properties, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC tasks. Technicians also handle maintenance and repairs of vacant homes during the turnover process, ensuring they meet quality standards prior to being leased again. The role requires adherence to all company safety guidelines, proper use and care of tools and vehicles, and consistent preparation for daily maintenance schedules to optimize efficiency.
