The company is dedicated to fostering an inclusive workplace where equal employment opportunity is provided and all individuals are respected regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex, gender, pregnancy, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic information, military or veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law. Aramark's mission emphasizes delivering outstanding service while supporting professional development and empowering its workforce to reach their full potential. Employees are given opportunities to develop new skills, take on challenges, and contribute to a meaningful cause in a supportive environment.

The Food Service Manager position at Aramark is a pivotal management role focused on developing and implementing dining solutions that satisfy customer preferences and needs. This position oversees dining operations in venues where customers order prepared meals from a menu, such as cafeterias or residential dining facilities. The manager leads the front of house operations, working closely with the Food Service Director to ensure the delivery of high-quality food service experiences. Key responsibilities include engaging and developing team members through Aramark's coaching model, recognizing outstanding employee performance, and leading daily team briefings to ensure operational objectives are met. The role demands a strong focus on safety, maintaining sanitation standards, and ensuring a healthy environment for clients, customers, and employees. Additionally, the Food Service Manager is responsible for client relationship management, understanding and communicating client needs, and maintaining transparent operational progress.

Financial oversight is a crucial aspect of this role, involving ensuring the accuracy and maintenance of Profit & Loss (P&L) statements, meeting company and client financial targets, and educating teams on key performance measures to improve operational margins. The manager must drive productivity by executing efficient operations, applying appropriate cost controls, and managing profits through meeting food and labor initiatives. Supervising the team on production quality and operational controls is essential for maintaining standards. Compliance with all applicable policies, including safety, health, and labor regulations such as wage and hour laws, is mandatory. The role also includes additional responsibilities such as planning, directing, and coordinating food service activities to ensure customers receive a finished, quality product.

Working as a Food Service Manager at Aramark offers the opportunity to contribute to a company that values service, innovation, and sustainability. The position requires flexibility as job duties may evolve, reflecting the company's dynamic approach to meeting commitments and adapting to client needs. Aramark supports its employees with the resources and guidance necessary to excel and make a difference in their roles. This role is well-suited for individuals with managerial experience who are passionate about food service excellence, leadership development, and financial performance.
