The Food Service Manager plays a crucial role within this dynamic company as a management position responsible for developing and implementing dining solutions tailored to meet customer needs and preferences. This leadership role focuses on overseeing and managing dining operations where customers order prepared foods from a menu, such as a cafeteria or residential dining facility. This position involves leading the front of the house dining operation in partnership with the Food Service Director. The Food Service Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating foodservice activities to ensure a high-quality finished product is delivered to the customer.

As a Food Service Manager at Aramark, you will utilize Aramark's coaching model to engage and develop your team members to their fullest potential, recognizing and rewarding excellent performance. You will ensure that both individual and team objectives align with client expectations and maintain high standards for safety and sanitation in all operations. Communication with clients about their needs and operational progress is essential to maintain strong client relationships. Financially, you will manage Profit and Loss statements, meet financial targets, and educate your team on key operational levers to improve margins and optimize performance. Job Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in a management role
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred

  • Ability to maintain an effective working relationship with other departments
  • Ability to lift, carry, push and pull up to 50 pounds occasionally

  • Ensure entire team is trained and able to implement
  • Supervise team regarding production, quality and control
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment for clients, customers and employees
  • Follow all applicable policies, rules and regulations
  • Lead the front of the house dining operation in conjunction with the Food Service Director
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate food service activities to deliver a finished product to the customer
