Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year customer service experience
- Minimum of 1 year phone etiquette experience
- Minimum of 1 year time management experience
- Ability to commute or relocate to Fort Lee, Edgewater, Cliffside Park, Weehawken, Jersey City, Hackensack or Carteret
- Availability to work full-time or part-time
- Ability to work 8 hour shifts Monday to Friday and weekends as needed
Job Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multitask effectively
- Experience in customer service
- Knowledge of local area services
- Previous concierge experience preferred
- Strong phone etiquette
- Ability to manage time efficiently
Job Duties
- Answer and relay requests for information such as directions, area attractions and restaurant suggestions
- Inform guests about facilities such as the swimming pool and business center
- Plan small group meals and entertainment such as golf outings, cooking classes and concert tickets
- Arrange private transportation for hotel guests
- Book entertainment, local tours and regional activities
- Assist guests with special requests or other needs such as medical assistance, laundry or dry cleaning services
