The Concierge role we are hiring for is an essential position within our community services team. This role is designed for someone who is knowledgeable, personable, and capable of multitasking in a dynamic environment. As a Concierge, you will be the first point of contact for residents, managing requests and concerns with professional courtesy and efficiency. You need to have excellent communication skills and a strong grasp of local area services to assist residents effectively. Duties will include responding to inquiries, addressing complaints appropriately, and ensuring requests are resolved promptly and satisfactorily. The position requires an individual who can juggle multiple responsibilities while maintaining a calm and pleasant demeanor under pressure. We offer full-time and part-time employment options with a competitive starting salary of $16.50 per hour, which can increase up to $18.50 per hour based on experience. Work hours include an 8-hour shift, Monday through Friday, as well as weekend availability to accommodate the diverse needs of our residents.
The ideal candidate must be able to reliably commute to Cliffside Park or be planning to relocate prior to starting the position, which emphasizes our need for dependable, on-site presence. Experience in customer service, phone etiquette, and time management is essential, ideally with at least one year of experience. Previous concierge experience is preferred but not mandatory. We value those who embody hospitality expertise and possess a genuine desire to help others.
