The position available is a full-time Residential Student Monitor role with a competitive hourly wage of $19.20. This role is vital for maintaining the safety and well-being of students living on residential floors. The Residential Student Monitor is responsible for overseeing the daily activities of students, ensuring compliance with center policies and fostering an environment conducive to character building and self-improvement. This position requires strong interpersonal skills to motivate, counsel, and guide students appropriately. The monitor also facilitates immediate support when students face injury, illness, emotional distress, or traumatic events, playing a key role in documenting occurrences and ensuring prompt responses. With shifts available on Prime/Swing (3:00pm-12:00am) or Night/Graveyard (11:30pm-8:30am), this role offers consistent hours in an environment focused on making a positive difference in youth's lives.

Job Requirements

  • Provide students with basic direction, instruction, and assistance as needed
  • Motivate and counsel students on behavior, training, personal problems, or study habits
  • Coordinate with career counselors and staff to address issues affecting student training
  • Develop and conduct enrichment programs
  • Participate in student employability programs and activities
