Job Description

Nation's Finest is a reputable organization dedicated to providing comprehensive residential programs aimed at supporting vulnerable populations, particularly individuals experiencing homelessness and those in need of permanent supportive housing. The organization emphasizes creating a safe, supportive, and stable environment for its residents while offering tailored services to meet their unique needs. It collaborates closely with community resources, healthcare providers, and local authorities to ensure holistic care and support for every client. As a leader in residential program management, Nation's Finest prioritizes dignity, respect, and empowerment, helping clients achieve greater independence and improved quality of life. The organization fosters a culture of collaboration, respect, and continuous improvement among its staff to ensure the highest standards of service delivery.

The Resident Services Coordinator (RSC) position at Nation's Finest is a vital line staff role within one of their residential programs, focused on providing day-to-day client support and coordinating essential services to improve resident outcomes. The RSC plays a crucial role in managing the day-to-day activities within the residential facility, ensuring a calm, friendly, and cooperative atmosphere that promotes a clean, orderly, and healthy environment for all participants. This position requires working closely with other onsite staff and various service providers to implement individualized treatment plans, facilitate client engagement in program activities, and ensure ongoing client progress. The RSC handles client assessments and intakes, documents client progress accurately, maintains confidentiality, and engages with clients both individually and in group settings to support life skills training, job readiness, and social integration.

A significant part of the RSC’s responsibilities includes maintaining accurate and timely data entry into the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS), managing maintenance logs in coordination with facility staff, and facilitating client referrals to community resources such as legal aid, employment services, and healthcare providers. The RSC also supports specific programs like HUD VASH by collaborating with case managers and conducting compliance checks to ensure clients adhere to safety and program rules. This position involves a substantial amount of case management, crisis intervention, and client advocacy to foster client success within the permanent supportive housing framework.

Offering a competitive hourly wage ranging from $24.43 to $29.57, depending on experience and location, this full-time role is eligible for an outstanding benefits package. The position requires a strong ability to work independently, excellent interpersonal communication skills, and proficiency in standard office software like Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. The RSC must be detail-oriented, professional, and capable of maintaining boundaries with clients, all while supporting a diverse client base, including veterans and individuals coping with mental health and substance use challenges.
