The Resident Services Coordinator plays an integral role in GC Service Corp's mission to uphold excellent resident relations and streamline property operations. The coordinator acts as the primary point of contact in the leasing office, embodying the company’s commitment to outstanding customer service. This role requires a dynamic individual who can manage multiple tasks efficiently, respond promptly to resident and prospect inquiries, and facilitate a welcoming community environment. Responsibilities include planning and executing resident events, coordinating building operations among various departments, and providing concierge-level service to residents. The coordinator must ensure all residents are well-informed about community services, procedures, and activities, thereby enhancing overall resident satisfaction. The role also entails networking with neighboring businesses to maximize marketing efforts and supporting general leasing office functions such as touring prospects and lease unit backups. This position demands excellent communication skills, both oral and written, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with property management software like Yardi and Onsite. Physical demands of the job include the ability to lift up to 15 pounds and perform various routine office tasks. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to handle high-pressure environments, adapt to changing priorities, and work effectively as part of a team. The Resident Services Coordinator must also uphold confidentiality standards and comply with company policies and relevant laws. Being a role that requires occasional travel within Southern California and Arizona, flexibility in work hours, including evenings and weekends, is expected. Job Requirements
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 15 pounds
- Regularly required to sit, stand, lift, push, pull, bend, squat, and reach
- Regularly required to use standard office equipment including computer, telephone, fax machine, scanner, and filing
- Must be reliable and consistently at work and on time
- Willing to travel and work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- English proficiency required
- Ability to adapt communication to the audience
- Must be able to work under pressure
- Ability to follow instructions and respond to management direction
- Must be able to travel within Southern California and Arizona
Job Qualifications
- One year related experience and/or training or the equivalent of education and experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and publishing software
- Previous experience with property management software including Yardi and Onsite is a plus
- Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing
- English proficiency required, Spanish proficiency is a plus
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Requires adaptability to changing priorities and remaining organized under pressure
- Ability to handle conflict and difficult situations effectively
- Understanding of company policies and applicable laws
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Job Duties
- Plan, attend, and execute resident functions and events
- Coordinate building operations and systems between recreation, retail, and office staff
- Oversee services to residents and prospective residents to help achieve customer service goals
- Handle multiple phone lines and work under pressure
- Ensure residents are knowledgeable about community services, operating procedures, and events
- Respond to inquiries from prospective and current residents
- Coordinate resident service issues with appropriate community staff
- Provide backup support for leasing units, tour prospects, and assist in general leasing office operations
- Serve as a concierge to residents
- Network with neighboring businesses to maximize marketing opportunities
- Perform other duties as assigned
