This particular opportunity is for an entry-level Residential Re-entry position within social services. The role offers a competitive wage starting at $23.09 per hour, with dental and vision benefits available for all relief employees. The position involves supervising residents within the facility and in the community, ensuring the safety, security, and maintenance of the facility as well as the wellbeing of its residents.

The Residential Re-entry role is a relief position with variable hours ranging from 8 to 40 hours per week, including first, second, and third shifts, weekends, and other variable schedules based on the needs of the center. Shifts are clearly defined with the first shift running from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, the second from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM, and the third from 11:30 PM to 8:00 AM. This flexible scheduling model allows employees to work in a capacity that accommodates both their availability and the operational needs of the residential center.

The primary responsibilities of this position include monitoring the custody, control, and security of residents and the facility. A key component of this role is to observe and document resident activities, enforce community rules and restrictions, and maintain accountability for resident transactions involving money, medications, communication, visitors, and more. Staff members will also assist counselors in managing various program services such as installing electronic monitoring equipment, conducting home and employment visits, and performing surveillance testing.

Facility monitoring duties include conducting scheduled inspections to maintain cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards. The role requires maintaining a working knowledge of the operational policies and procedures, including emergency drills, life safety protocols, and unusual occurrences. Additionally, employees are responsible for general housekeeping tasks to ensure that the center environment remains safe and welcoming.

Employees must be prepared to work varied shifts and hours, including responding to work stoppages by covering necessary shifts. Attending required appointments and meetings, which may occasionally be off-site, is also an essential part of the role.
