Currently, Concord Hospitality is seeking an experienced hotel leader to manage the WoodSpring Suites in Greensboro, NC. This role is suited for an organized, detail-oriented individual who can lead a motivated team of hospitality professionals dedicated to providing outstanding guest experiences. The General Manager will play a critical role in hiring, mentoring, and leading the team while maintaining excellent operational standards in alignment with the company’s mission and values.
The General Manager position at Concord Hospitality involves a comprehensive set of responsibilities. The successful candidate will serve as the key liaison among the hotel brand, ownership, and corporate management. They will ensure the smooth operation of the hotel by overseeing staffing and scheduling, managing vendors, conducting sales prospecting, and maintaining rigorous safety and security standards. The General Manager is also expected to provide excellent customer service, ensuring that all guests receive a warm, welcoming experience from check-in to departure. This leader will work closely with various hotel departments including housekeeping, maintenance, sales, and operations to ensure seamless service delivery.
A critical component of this role is adherence to company policies concerning cash handling, confidentiality, key control, and property security. The General Manager will actively participate in weekly operational reviews and property walks to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and safety. In addition to operational duties, the position requires the management of on-site living arrangements which come with specific guidelines and expectations to support the on-call nature of the role.
This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 55,000 to USD 59,000 annually, complemented by a lucrative quarterly bonus structure. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- proven experience in hotel or hospitality management
- strong leadership and team management skills
- experience with sales activities
- excellent customer service skills
- ability to work flexible hours including being on-call
- compliance with company policies regarding on-site living arrangements
- ability to maintain professional appearance and conduct
- understanding of safety and security procedures

Job Duties
- Manage staffing and scheduling
- assist in housekeeping and laundry daily
- manage vendors and proactively prospect new cost-effective vendors
- conduct sales prospecting once a week
- conduct parking lot shops weekly and report results
- send required weekly emails to Regional Director of Operations
- ensure excellent first impression for guests
- offer concierge service and assistance to guests
- ensure warm and welcoming check-in and departure experiences
- coordinate services across housekeeping, maintenance, sales, and operations
- assist in processing laundry
- follow all safety and security procedures
- manage secure cash handling and processing
- handle confidential company and guest information
- administer key control properly
- routinely conduct property and security walks
