Job Description
Core Spaces (Core) is a distinguished real estate company that goes beyond the traditional role of property management and development. Founded in 2010, Core is a vertically integrated real estate investment manager specializing in the student housing and build-to-rent (BTR) sectors. The company stands out by emphasizing people and relationships as much as it focuses on innovative property development. Core embraces a unique culture driven by six core values: PUSH (Invent Better Places to Live), GRIT (We Got This), LIFT (Help Each Other Win), SHINE (Bring Your Full Self), UPHOLD (Never Break Trust), and GROW (Always Get Better). These cultural pillars inspire collaboration and innovation, guiding the company as it continually enhances the resident experience through world-class design, amenities, and services.
Core’s portfolio boasts over 74,440 student housing beds that are currently owned or managed, with an impressive pipeline of 53,860 beds under development. Similarly, its BTR division is rapidly expanding with over 3,000 homes across key high-growth metropolitan areas, either under development or actively leasing. This extensive reach reflects Core’s commitment to creating vibrant, livable communities that set new standards for residential living. At the heart of Core’s mission is a dedication to delivering hospitality-driven service and progressive design that fosters a sense of belonging and connection for residents.
The role of Resident Experience Concierge is integral to Core’s mission of delivering exceptional community living experiences. This full-time position is situated within one of Core’s student housing communities and focuses on managing and facilitating the timely, secure delivery of packages and mail for residents. Reliability and attention to detail are paramount as the Concierge is responsible for receiving, logging, sorting, and organizing incoming deliveries in accordance with property protocols.
Beyond managing mail and packages, the Resident Experience Concierge supports overall community engagement by assisting with resident interactions, facilitating community events, supporting marketing initiatives, and contributing to social media efforts that enhance resident connectivity. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and well-organized mailroom environment. The Concierge will work closely with front office staff and maintenance teams to promptly address any package-related issues, safety concerns, or delivery problems.
Core offers a work culture that values employee contributions and fosters a welcoming, inclusive environment where individuals can bring their whole selves to work. Benefits include competitive pay, generous paid time off, access to confidential support services through an Employee Assistance Program, and retirement plan options including a 401(k) with company matching and Roth accounts. This position provides an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic, community-oriented setting, aiming to positively impact the living experience of student residents while growing professionally within Core Spaces.
