Job Description

The Liberty Square Apartments is a vibrant 55 or better apartment community located in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin. As part of the FRED Group, we bring over 40 years of industry experience managing more than 35 communities across Wisconsin and Illinois, with numerous new projects underway. FRED is dedicated to creating enriching residential environments where seniors can enjoy an active and social lifestyle in a safe and welcoming setting. Our mission is to provide exceptional service and to foster a strong sense of community for our residents. We continue to grow, offering numerous opportunities for career advancement and professional development within our expanding footprint.

We are currently seeking a part-time Resident Event Coordinator at Liberty Square Apartments to join our dynamic team. This position is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic, customer-service-oriented, and passionate about planning engaging events that bring residents together. The Resident Event Coordinator will play a pivotal role in organizing and executing a variety of monthly, seasonal, and special events that promote socialization, wellness, and a thriving community spirit among our senior residents. Working approximately 20 hours per week with a flexible schedule, this role is designed to accommodate work-life balance while offering meaningful interaction with residents.

In this role, you will coordinate the logistics of events including scheduling, room setups, and vendor relationships while maintaining budget oversight to ensure cost-effective event programming. Your creativity and proactive communication skills will help tailor event offerings to meet the interests and preferences of our residents. Collaboration with local vendors and entertainers will enhance the quality and variety of our events, making each occasion memorable and enjoyable. Moreover, you will assist residents by addressing their questions about the community, thereby helping to foster a warm and supportive living environment.

Joining The Liberty Square Apartments as a Resident Event Coordinator means becoming a valued member of a team that prioritizes people and community. We offer a competitive base hourly rate and a flexible part-time schedule primarily from Monday to Friday between 8:30 am and 12:30 pm. Our comprehensive benefits package includes a 10% rent discount on market rate apartments for part-time employees, a 10% daycare discount through The Leaning Experience daycare centers, paid training, professional development opportunities, and engaging company-sponsored team-building activities, community events, and charitable initiatives.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are creative, have strong communication skills, and enjoy working with seniors to cultivate a lively community atmosphere. Whether you have previous event planning experience or a passion for customer service, you will be supported through comprehensive training and ongoing development. Apply today and help us create memorable experiences that make The Liberty Square Apartments a remarkable place to live for older adults.
