Job Description

Hunt Military Communities (HMC) is a leading property management company specializing in providing exceptional housing and community experiences for military families across the United States. With a wide portfolio that spans numerous military installations, HMC is committed to delivering high-quality residential environments that foster a strong sense of community and support for the military lifestyle. Their dedication to service excellence and community engagement is deeply embedded into their corporate mission, driven by a passion for improving the lives of military families through thoughtfully managed housing and enriching resident programs.

The Resident Event Coordinator role at HMC is a pivotal position responsible for the strategic planning, coordination, and execution of resident engagement events throughout HMC's Military Housing portfolio. This role focuses on enhancing resident satisfaction by creating a vibrant and inclusive community atmosphere across multiple properties. Unlike traditional event planning positions, this role does not involve managing direct staff members but rather oversees event programming enterprise-wide. The coordinator works closely with site teams, operations leadership, marketing departments, and external partners to ensure all events align with HMC’s brand values and mission to serve military families.

The Resident Event Coordinator’s primary objective is to develop comprehensive event strategies and engage residents in meaningful ways that improve brand perception and foster positive relationships among residents, property management, and military commands. This position demands a creative, organized, and collaborative individual who possesses a strong understanding of event logistics and resident engagement strategies. The coordinator will lead cross-functional efforts to identify new opportunities for enhancing customer experience and execute events tailored to individual community needs while maintaining consistency enterprise-wide.

Responsibilities include crafting both long-term and short-term event plans, managing event budgets, sourcing vendors, and negotiating contracts. The coordinator will also analyze resident satisfaction data and event participation metrics to continually improve programming outcomes. They will act as a brand ambassador by promoting resident engagement through marketing, communications, and property management collaboration. Ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards, providing training and support to site staff, and managing logistics across multiple sites and time zones are integral parts of this role.

Compensation for this role is competitive and reflects factors such as geographic location, experience, education, and certifications. HMC emphasizes pay equity and offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, life and disability insurance, paid time off, retirement plans, and more. This position requires reliable attendance, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to HMC’s mission to enhance the quality of life for military families through exceptional resident experiences.
