The role of Care Giver at Arvum Senior Living is centered around providing both physical and emotional support to residents, making sure each individual lives in a safe and comfortable home-like environment. Care Givers are crucial to maintaining the dignity and independence of the seniors they assist, complementing medical care with compassion and attention to detail. This role involves assisting residents with their daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, ambulation, and eating while helping them engage in life enrichment activities that enhance their overall wellbeing.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • must be 18 years of age
  • previous experience working with seniors preferred
  • ability to communicate effectively with residents, management, and co-workers
  • superior customer service skills
  • ability to handle multiple priorities
  • must demonstrate good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills

Job Qualifications

  • Certified nurse's aid certification preferred
  • high school diploma/GED
  • must be 18 years of age

Job Duties

  • Maintaining cleanliness of resident's room and work areas
  • helping residents maintain independence, promoting dignity and physical safety of each resident
  • participating and assisting residents with activities of daily living (i.e. bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, ambulation, transferring, eating) as instructed
  • engaging residents in life skills and other life enrichment activities
