Friendly Senior Living is currently seeking dedicated professionals to fill Full-Time Evening Shift positions, with the requirement of availability to work every other weekend. The role focuses on providing compassionate care within the Enriched Housing Program, where the primary purpose is to foster independence and promote social engagement among residents. This position involves assisting residents with daily living activities and housekeeping tasks as specified in their individual service plans. The evening shift role encompasses a blend of direct resident care, documentation, teamwork, and communication with nurse supervisors and leadership. The position is crucial in ensuring that residents receive quality support tailored to their assisted, enhanced, or special needs levels of care, ultimately enhancing their quality of life. Through this role, employees contribute significantly to the well-being and comfort of the senior community, supporting both physical and social needs.
Employees in this role will engage in a variety of essential functions including assisting with activities of daily living, preparing service documentation, performing light housekeeping duties, consulting with nursing staff on resident status, and participating in meetings and training sessions. The position also involves supporting dining services, life enrichment activities, and responding promptly to resident calls and emergencies. Those hired will work closely with nurse supervisors, case managers, and other leadership to plan, develop, and evaluate care services in accordance with regulatory guidelines. This collaborative approach emphasizes teamwork and adherence to professional standards, ensuring all residents' rights and safety are upheld at all times.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year experience in assisted living or similar setting
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to perform essential job functions
- Adherence to attendance and punctuality policies
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Compliance with physical health standards
- Willingness to work evening shifts including every other weekend
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old at time of hire
- High school graduate or equivalent
- At least 1 year experience working in assisted living facility assisting residents with daily living activities
- HHA or PCA certification preferred
- Ability to relate and be respectful to a wide variety of people
- Friendly, hospitality-oriented, and service-oriented demeanor
Job Duties
- Assist residents with activities of daily living at all levels including assisted, enhanced, and special needs levels of care
- Prepare and maintain documentation and records of services performed
- Perform light housekeeping duties such as trash removal, laundry, bed making
- Consult and report to nurse supervisor resident's needs and any changes in resident's status
- Attend and participate in mandatory meetings, in-services and additional training
- Serve between meal and bed time snacks as needed
- Assist the LPN Supervisor, Shift Supervisor, Case Manager/Nurse Manager, and/or Assistant Executive Director in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating resident care services
