Job Description

Provision Living is a well-established senior living company founded in 2005 with a passionate mission to empower team members to grow, prosper, and create exceptional living environments for elders and their families. With a dedicated team of over 600 individuals, Provision Living emphasizes a culture filled with love, inspiration, and fulfillment. From associates to residents and their families, the company aims to maximize the potential of every life it touches, providing compassionate care and support for nearly 1,000 older adults. Headquartered in St. Louis, Provision Living operates 18 senior living communities across Missouri, Michigan, Tennessee, Mississippi, and Ohio, delivering high-quality services tailored to meet the needs of seniors in a warm and supportive setting.

The role of a Care Assistant at Provision Living is integral to the overall mission of enhancing the quality of life for residents. This position focuses on supporting, encouraging, and assisting seniors with activities of daily living, such as bathing support, medication reminders, and help with dressing, among other personal care needs. The Care Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring residents’ comfort and safety while fostering an atmosphere of respect and dignity.

In this role, the Care Assistant is responsible for escorting residents to dining and activity events, responding promptly to emergency call systems, reporting changes in residents’ conditions to management, and delivering meal trays upon request. The job includes assisting with housekeeping duties, cleaning resident apartments and common areas, as well as laundry responsibilities. Additionally, the Care Assistant supports meal service by serving meals in the dining room and handling clean-up tasks such as washing dishes and mopping floors. Flexibility is essential since employees may be cross-trained to assist with visitor tours, answering phones, and helping with activities.

Provision Living values employees who are proactive, compassionate, and committed to providing exceptional customer service to residents, families, fellow employees, and visitors alike. This position offers an opportunity to work in a supportive and collaborative environment that prioritizes respect for seniors and a strong sense of community. With a competitive compensation package and comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision insurance, 401(k), employee assistance programs, and employer-paid basic life and AD&D insurance, this role offers both personal and professional growth within an organization devoted to making a difference in the lives of older adults.
