The facility is committed to maintaining high standards of care and ensuring every resident experiences comfort and dignity in their living space.

This role is for a Resident Assistant, specifically a caregiver who will be working during the 2nd shift (3 p.m. to 11 p.m.) or 3rd shift (11 p.m. to 7 a.m.) to support residents with their daily living activities. This position offers a pay range of $13 to $16 per hour, depending on experience, along with immediate access to DailyPay for more flexible financial management. The Resident Assistant plays a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service to residents, families, and guests, acting as a compassionate and attentive caregiver throughout their shift.

Key responsibilities include responding promptly to calls for assistance through the pull cord system, assisting residents with activities of daily living such as ambulating, transfers, bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, and meal assistance. The role also involves personal care duties, supervision, and monitoring of residents' hygiene and medication intake. Additionally, Resident Assistants serve residents professionally during meals, help maintain cleanliness by laundering clothing and linens, cleaning apartments and common areas, and accompany residents to scheduled appointments.

Candidates must be capable of following written and oral instructions and able to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 75 pounds unassisted or 125 pounds with a two-person lift, using proper body mechanics. The position requires overall good physical and mental health, patience, compassion, and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment. A genuine desire to work with elderly and infirm individuals is essential. The community maintains a drug-free workplace and conducts criminal background checks and substance abuse testing to ensure safety and reliability. Regular attendance, a positive attitude, and proper attire are expected in all employees.
