RESIDENT ASSISTANT

We are currently seeking a CBRF Resident Assistant to join our supportive team. This role is essential in delivering direct care and assistance to our residents, focusing on activities of daily living such as personal hygiene, mobility, grooming, and dining. The Resident Assistant will play a crucial role in encouraging residents to maintain as much independence as possible while providing the necessary support to enhance their cognitive and physical health. Responsibilities include assisting with toileting, bathing, dressing, grooming, transfers, and providing emotional and social support to foster well-being and community engagement. The ideal candidate will demonstrate patience, empathy, and professionalism in all interactions, acting as a positive influence and advocate for residents. They will perform housekeeping duties, assist with meal preparation and dining, observe and report any changes in residents' conditions to supervisors promptly, and ensure adherence to infection control protocols.

This full-time role requires the candidate to be proactive, reliable, and capable of working independently while also functioning effectively as part of a team. Additional duties include attending staff meetings, adhering to workplace policies such as uniform and confidentiality protocols, and preparing residents for evacuation in emergency situations when necessary. The position offers a flexible schedule, incentive pay, weekend shift differential, health insurance, and 401K employer contributions. Personal protective equipment is provided and must be used as required to maintain safety standards.
