We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Full-Time or Part-Time Resident Aide to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals who are eager to contribute positively to the lives of residents by providing exemplary care and assistance in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment. As a Resident Aide, you will play a vital role in supporting residents’ physical and personal needs, including tasks such as assisting with transportation, feeding, toileting, personal hygiene, and dressing. Additionally, you will be responsible for performing housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment, such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, cleaning bathrooms, and replenishing supplies.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum age of 18
  • Satisfactory completion of Nurse Aide Program preferred
  • Experience in an environmental services or customer service healthcare position preferred
  • Ability to work weekend shifts Friday through Monday
  • Availability for day, evening, or night shifts
  • Ability to perform physical tasks associated with resident care
  • Commitment to providing compassionate and respectful care

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in environmental services or customer service in a healthcare setting preferred
  • Satisfactory completion of Nurse Aide Program preferred
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic knowledge of resident care and safety practices

Job Duties

  • Assist resident with their physical needs including transporting, feeding, toileting, personal hygiene, and dressing
  • Perform housekeeping duties such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, cleaning bathrooms, and re-stocking items
  • Assist residents with scheduled activities and appointments
  • Review weekly care plans and updates as needed
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents
  • Support team members in delivering excellent care
  • Communicate effectively with residents and healthcare team members
